CRISIS SUPPORT & TEMPORARY/EMERGENCY HOUSING    Code:  CONCRETE NEEDS-500
DEFINITION:
A person is in need of some type of shelter for a short period of time due to a crisis situation, lack of income, runaway, physical or sexual abuse, or domestic violence.
PREVENTION:
Increase educational programs for adolescents and adults that focus on the dangers of abuse and domestic violence; Provide more programs/workshops that teach job and life skills.
INTERVENTION:
Provide GED education for people who are in need of emergency shelter, Assist them in gaining job skills; Assist in the learning of other skills that encourage and enable independent living.
