The Commission on Children's Issues is a nonprofit organization 501(c)3 that formed in 1993, due to the rise of juvenile delinquency within Redford Township. Judge Karen Khalil-Bouzas rallied concerned citizens, community and business leaders to tackle this issue. Active involvement from our Board of Directors and a yearly generous donation from Botsford Hospital has enabled us to host a variety of programs and services. These events help move the Commission on Children's Issues towards achieving our mission.
We are looking for volunteers to assist us in our efforts. For more information or to make a financial contribution please email us at info@childrensissues.com |

Our coalition, in cooperation with its member organizations, assisted in the building of this comprehensive Resource Directory. This tool provides referrals & community networks for families, schools and community agencies.
The Directory serves as a clearinghouse for information and resources on health, education and social services. The Resource Directory will increase the awareness of resources in schools and community agencies. This document has been distributed to the area schools, churches and community agencies within our community, and the surrounding area. The Resource Directory is available for no charge to all interested organizations. |
